Every time I wander around the Galata Tower, I glance over the shops and catch up with some new shops and their products. Galata, Şişhane and Karaköy areas are getting popular each year. A few years ago I was walking towards Kabataş from Galata Tower when the Turkish delight in the front of a small and pretty shop got my attention. While we were staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina we visited Uruguay which is a stone’s throw away distance from Buenos Aires. With a one-hour ferry trip you can reach Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay from Buenos Aires. We spent 5 days in Uruguay and visited one of the oldest towns in Uruguay; Colonia del Sacramento, the capital of Uruguay; Montevideo and Miami of South America; Punta Del Este. We found many common things between Uruguay and Argentina. Uruguay was a little bit expensive than Argentina though.
