Bam Bam, The Best Ceviche Place in Lima,
I had never heard about Ceviche, a typical and special meal of Peru cuisine before I stepped into Lima. I love foods and consider myself a gourmet so I was surprised that I haven’t even heard of this delicious meal. In my daily life in Istanbul, I always search for new restaurants and try to taste new flavors. I didn’t know that Peru cuisine has such great taste. As always I wished to stay longer to taste more Peruvian food but then I thought that in fact now I have a reason come back and taste the rest of Peruvian cuisine.

Stockholm Subways Have Eyes And Ears
I generally prefer to use public transportation while I am travelling so that I can observe and feel the daily life and local people’s routine. Before my Stockholm trip, I saw some photos of metro stations in Stockholm which were decorated and painted in a very different and creative way. At first I though it is done using Photoshop or something. After I saw the metro stations, I realized all photos I had seen were real. The metro stations were like art galleries.
Travelling in Cuba
Today’s post is another one of my Travel Route Series, and it’s about Cuba! Cuba is the biggest and the most populated island in Caribbean. It is one of the communist countries in the world. About Cuba; Havana Club Ron, Mojito, Daiquiri, Cuban Cigars, Salsa, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, the Bueno Vista Social Club, the Guantanamo Camp, the Bay of Pigs and more things come to your mind for sure. Before USA abolished the embargo to Cuba and American tourists started to invade the island, we wanted to visit this beautiful island and country. We only spent 5 days in Havana and around. And briefly I would like to give some information about my route.
Tips For Enjoying The Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic is the second largest island and country after Cuba in the Caribbean Sea. Its green nature, blue sea, beautiful beaches, waterfalls and many other natural beauties impressed me a lot. It is the motherland of Bachata and Merengue dances. The peak of Duarte is 3175 meters high and it is the highest point of Caribbean. We spent 10 days in here and tried to visit as many places as we could. I suggest you visit all the places in my route in a week. While we were travelling we used buses and rental car. Here is some brief information about our route. It Couldn’t Sail Even A Single Mile – Story of Vasa, The Ship
On August 10th, 1628, the 64-gun warship Vasa left the port of Stockholm while the excited crowd were watching her departure. After a few minutes the ship encountered a strong wind and it was heeled over to the port. The gunports were open to make farewell shots and this caused the water to rush into the ship. Vasa sank after a single mile of sailing. The crew were allowed to take their families and guests along for the first part of the passage so there were around 150 people on the ship. 30 of them died onboard. Her valuable bronze cannons were salvaged.
