Previously I shared some posts about my experience about the Atlantic Crossing, using a sailing boat. I decided I should write an article about some other part of that wonderful trip, about how to hitchhike a sailing boat! 🙂

Bolivia is one of the two countries that do not have any shores to the oceans. It has beautiful nature and naive people. It is worth visiting Bolivia, the Uyuni Salt lake and desert region.
The Uyuni Salar region is one of the most visited touristic places in Bolivia and South America. Amazon regions for nature lovers and the high mountains for mountaineers and trekkers are highly recommended spots. To read my other routes, please visit my Travel Route Series.
I like to visit all kind of museums while I am travelling but more than that I like to visit modern art museums especially sculpture sections. I like sculptures because that tangible, concrete art pieces transmit the soul of the artist to me. When I was in Stockholm, someone mentioned about a sculpture garden, MillesgĂĄrden. It took my attention. I decided to visit this museum even though it wasn’t in the old town area . It is just 7 km away from the city center. You can easily reach MillesgĂĄrden by public transportation.
The fall ends and the winter comes slowly. In Istanbul we are still enjoying the sunny days of fall. I want to share one of my travel experiences about cold weather and culture. You might guess that I will mention some Nordic countries and you are right. The subject is Stockholm and its Sauna culture.
There are lots of reasons as to why some people decide to hit the road. Love, longing, running from a life, starting a new life, loosing yourself, finding yourself, being free, being part of something and so on. So everyone hits the road for different reasons, including me 🙂 I want to share some of these movies that really inspired me and made me keep walking and continue traveling.  Be careful cause you too might want to hit the road after watching these movies.

Previously I wrote an article about the Best Parts of Life On A Sailing Boat. Today I want to share another article with you about the other side of the coin. I hope it will be useful for you.
During our South America trip, we traveled with buses as much as we could especially when there were no time limitations. I generally prefer to travel with anything that stays close to the ground such as trains, buses and cars 🙂 In this post I am going to share my reasons and give you some very useful tips if you’re going to see South America someday.
What does life mean to you?
I guess at some point everyone stays still at least for a few seconds to think about this question. While you are thinking about your answer, I want to share my answer with you.
There is famous Turkish saying, “Dreams keep men alive.” You’ll have a vision someday or a dream takes shape in your mind. Years pass and you don’t even remember that dream. In fact it hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s still standing at some place in your mind but you just can’t recall it. HĂĽsamettin Kocan too had a dream, stablishing a museum in his village where he was born and raised. He never forgot his dream and despite many hardships he faced in life he built the museum that he was dreaming about in 2010. A few years after opening the museum, in 2014 to be precise, it received the Council of Europe Museum Prize. This prize is given by the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). The Council of Europe Museum Prize has been awarded annually since 1977 to museums that have made a significant contribution to the understanding of European cultural heritage.
In this article I want to write about an artist who never stopped pursuing his dreams, HĂĽsamettin Kocan and his mangnificent museum, Baksı Museum, which has been in my “Must Visit” list since I have heard about it.
