Uruguay Vacation Tips and Cost (Plus Expenses File)

While we were staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina we visited Uruguay which is a stone’s throw away distance from Buenos Aires. With a one-hour ferry trip you can reach Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay from Buenos Aires. We spent 5 days in Uruguay and visited one of the oldest towns in Uruguay; Colonia del Sacramento, the capital of Uruguay; Montevideo and Miami of South America; Punta Del Este. We found many common things between Uruguay and Argentina. Uruguay was a little bit expensive than Argentina though.

Brazil Vacation Cost (Plus Excel Expenses File)

After a very interesting Chile trip, our next stop was Brazil. The main reason for our Brazil trip was the Carnival. My sister, a friend of mine who flew from Istanbul to join us, and I spent 15 days in Brazil. We visited Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Salvador de Bahia and Iguazu Falls. We really enjoyed the Rio and Recife carnivals of Brazil and its amazing nature. We were there during the carnival period so the prices were higher than normal time especially for accommodation. But Brazil is not the cheapest country in South America.
